Salita Is Free

DiBella Entertainment and unbeaten super lightweight Dmitriy Salita (27-0-1, 15 KOs) have worked out an agreement by which Salita has received a release from his promotional contract with the New York-based boxing promoter. The WBA #3 rated Salita, an Orthodox Jew fighting out of Brooklyn, NY, fought under the DBE banner for nearly three years and built up a fan base that filled venues in Manhattan to see him fight his way up the world rankings. He also fought under the Top Rank banner, but since he was an east coast kid this is where he has comeback to fight. Salita for what ever reason was kept off the radar, it always seemed that his fights just popped up at the last minute, somehow he has a large following mostly due to his religious beliefs.
