Hatton Ready To Return

Rick Hatton is looking to get right back to title contention status, as he is still rated #1 at light welterweight. He has his eyes set on World Boxing Association light-welterweight champion Gavin Rees in possibly May. talks between Rees’s promoter Frank Warren and Hatton’s advisor's have begun and that regardless of who Hatton does step into the ring with the fight will be broadcast on HBO. The PPV giant made it clear that they want to see him again, due to his marketing power.

Hatton, still despite the fact that it has become a much talked about fight amongst British fans waves off the challenge of World Boxing Council light welterweight champion Junior Witter, who he has been feuding with for years. Hatton who has a variety of opposition to choose from with the likes of Paulie Malignaggi, Demetrius Hopkins, Ricardo Torres, Herman Ngoudjo, Kendall Holt, Vivian Harris, and Randall Bailey. He can beat them all with out taking too much risk if he chooses to continue his career that much longer.
