Floyd Mayweather Talks With Mark Cuban


According to reports in the Media and rumors that have been circulating is that Floyd "Money" Mayweather is considering taking a leap into mixed martial arts. Floyd sat down with the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and they had a serious conversation about Floyd competing in mma events.

Quoted by the Associated Press after the Mavericks' game Friday night, Cuban in regards to Mayweather Jr. stated: "We're definitely going to work together," Cuban went on to add: "It's just a question of in what capacity. You just don't jump from being a boxer to an MMA fighter overnight. He's got to test the waters. Mark Cuban is not only the owner of the Dalls Mavericks he also owns an mma promotional company called HDNet Fights.

Floyd Mayweathers most trusted business advisor Leonard Ellerbe, told ESPN.com Mayweather Jr. was seriously considering a move to MMA. "It's definitely something he is interested in, and when Floyd makes his move, obviously it's going to be a mega event," Ellerbe added: "We don't have a timetable. Floyd is taking some time off, but Floyd understands what is involved. You have to take time to go out and understand what you're getting involved in, and he's ready to do that."
